Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been passionate about animal care. Growing up with a variety of pets - including dogs, cats, fish, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, ducks, and horses—instilled in me a love for animals that naturally led me to become a veterinary nurse. After eight rewarding years in the field, I’m thrilled to be working at The Cat Doctors.

My goal is to ensure that every cat (and their owner) has a positive experience when visiting our clinic. I’m Fear Free certified and truly believe in creating a safe and calming atmosphere for our more anxious patients. It’s all about making them feel as comfortable as possible.

At home, I live with my husband, our two young children, and our furry family members: Linky, our ragdoll mix, and Yoshi, our playful cavoodle. Our pets are the heart of our family, and we would be lost without them.
Something interesting about me? I have a love for horses and have worked in equine veterinary hospitals in the past.

I’m excited to bring my experience and passion for animal care to the Cat Doctors team, and I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends!

As the Business Manager at our clinic, my passion for cats drives everything I do. I was drawn to the Cat Doctor team because of my love for these furry companions and the genuine care that our staff shows to each and every feline. I believe that being away from home can be a scary experience for cats, so my goal is to ensure that both cats and their owners feel comfortable and at ease during their visits.

At home, I share my life with my partner and Louie, a rescue cat I adopted when he was just 4 weeks old and weighed a mere 378 grams. He means the world to me and serves as a constant reminder of the importance of compassion for all animals. I am constantly amazed by his quirky and energetic personality and love watching him explore the world around him and come up with inventive ways to capture my attention.

In my spare time, you will find me entertaining family and friends at home, reading, hiking or traveling the world. I've had the opportunity to travel to all seven continents, always seeking out ethical wildlife experiences and volunteering at local animal shelters where I can. Some of my favourite travel experiences include trekking through the jungle in Uganda to admire mountain gorillas playing together in their natural environment, watching the vast amount of penguins go about their daily life in Antarctica, swimming with baby sea lions and sharks in the Galapagos Islands and volunteering at a local cat and dog shelter in Isla Holbox, Mexico.

I’m excited to be a part of a team that shares my commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of cats and their owners!

I’ve always been a bit of a crazy cat lady, completely captivated by the unique personalities of every cat I meet. Joining the Cat Doctors team was an easy choice for me - I was looking for a better work-life balance and the chance to learn from the incredible knowledge and experience of my colleagues.

My goal with every cat I encounter is simple: to provide the care that suits them best. Each cat has its own quirks, and I believe it’s essential to understand and cater to those individual needs. A highlight of my day is learning all about the cats that visit us and the stories of the mischief they get up to.

At home, I live with my roommate and best friend, along with her two cats, Biggie Smalls and Sunflower. I also have three cats at my parents house —Leo, Little and Maggie. They’re all my little fluffy gremlins that have taken over my house and cover everything with fur.

When I’m not busy with my feline friends, I love to read. You can usually find me lounging in the sun with a cat on my lap and my Kindle in hand.

I’m thrilled to be part of the Cat Doctors team, where I can combine my love for cats with my passion for providing them the best care possible!

Working in the veterinary profession as a nurse has always been a natural fit for me. I have always loved animals and grew up being surrounded by a menagerie of sorts which included several German Shepherds and a Ridgeback cross, horses, cows and a multitude of sheep. However, I didn’t take the most straight forward path into veterinary nursing as I studied journalism and worked at a country newspaper after high school. While volunteering in the cattery and in the barn at the Burwood RSPCA, I decided to go down a YouTube rabbit hole and discovered what veterinary nursing was and the profession immediately resonated with me.

Now that I have spent some time in the veterinary industry, I have come to discover my love of felines and interest in feline medicine. I love how every cat has their own unique personality and quirks (I see this in my own furbabies). I want to help every cat I meet and give their owners peace of mind. I know how stressful it can be to bring your pet to the vet and I want to make the experience as pleasant as possible for both the pet and owner.

I live with my fiancé and my two Siberian cats Doja Cat and Kendrick La Meow, who are half brother and sister. My cats honestly mean the world to me and I love coming home to them every day. My house is a cat playground with built in platforms, trees and hidey holes and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

In my spare time, you can find me at a yoga class or out for a run along the Merri Creek trail (if I am motivated enough). I also love riding horses and equestrian evented when I was younger.
