Growing up surrounded by my grandfather’s farm animals, I developed a curiosity and love for animal care from a very early age. Whenever anyone asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always had the same answer, I wanted to work with animals.

My love for cats began unexpectedly when I found a tiny kitten alone in a park and decided to take her home. Having never owned a cat before, I quickly discovered how wonderfully unique they are. Many years later, during a routine senior health check while I was studying at university, my beloved cat Nina was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. That moment sparked my passion for feline medicine and reinforced my desire to dedicate my career to helping cats live healthier, happier lives.

I joined The Cat Doctors because I was immediately drawn to the clinic’s philosophy. A dedicated, cats-only environment focused on delivering the highest standard of care for feline patients felt like the perfect fit for me. The clinic’s commitment to feline wellbeing aligns closely with my own values and professional interests, and I feel incredibly proud to be part of such a passionate and specialised team.

My goal with every cat I meet is to help them feel safe, respected and understood. Veterinary visits can be stressful for many cats, so I always strive to make their experience as calm and comfortable as possible.

Originally from Peru, my family remains there, including my parents and my two beloved pets. Nina, my 14-year-old cat who inspired my passion for feline medicine, and Sammy, my 10-year-old dog. Leaving them behind when I moved to Australia was heartbreaking, and they are missed every day. They continue to hold a very special place in my heart.

Moving to Australia with my sister has made this adventure even more special. Outside of work, I love spending time in nature, going for walks and watching sunsets. I have also recently taken up crochet, which has become a fun and creative way to relax.
